If I Should Die

If I should die, my wife,
You need to live, your life,
You need to go and meet and greet,
You need to meet somebody sweet,
You need to laugh and live and learn,
You need to love, you need to yearn.

If you should die, my dear,
I’ll move my boyfriend, here,
He’ll wear your clothes, your pants, your shoes,
He’ll share your points, your thoughts, your views,
He’ll give me what you failed to give,
If you should ever, never live.

I think you should put quotations around the second stanza to drive home that the wife is speaking.
